Funding

CSAR is a not-for-profit, tax exempt corporation organized under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue code.  As a volunteer organization, all members are required to supply their own equipment with expenses sometimes, but rarely exceeding 500.00 a year. 

Unit equipment required at searches, such as pagers, radios and technical gear is provided by Commonwealth Search and Rescue
